2. Input Protection Circuits

i have made mesurement on Vinput(0 - 1V) and Iinput to find out which input protection is good
Openeeg Protection works in to ways. but wich way is used ? standard basis (at app 0.7V) input will collector emitter short circuit or the reverse Transistordiode will work?
